Terms of Service
Last updated: May 8, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Revio. By creating an account, accessing the Revio web app, or using any related service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. "Revio", "we", "us", and "our" refer to the operator of tryrevio.app.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By signing up or using Revio, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, that you accept these Terms in full, and that you accept our Privacy Policy. If you are using Revio on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will notify you and ask you to accept again.
2. The Revio service
Revio is software that helps small businesses request and manage Google reviews. The service includes sending review-request messages on your behalf via WhatsApp, SMS, or email; collecting replies in a unified inbox; integrating with Google Business Profile; and analytics. Some features are limited to paid plans. We may change, add, or remove features at any time, but we will not remove a feature you are paying for without reasonable notice.
3. Account eligibility and security
To create an account, you must provide accurate information about you and your business. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for any activity under your account. Revio is intended for commercial use only — not for individuals contacting other individuals for personal reasons. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
4. Your responsibility for contacts (CASL, TCPA, and similar laws)
You upload and control the customer list inside Revio. You confirm and warrant that you have obtained the consent required by applicable law from every contact you upload before sending them messages through Revio. In Canada, this is required by CASL. In the United States, this is required by the TCPA and US state laws. You are responsible for honouring opt-out requests, even if Revio also blocks them at the phone-number level. Misuse of Revio to contact people without consent may result in immediate suspension and legal liability that you cannot pass to us.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Revio to send spam, illegal content, harassing or deceptive messages, or content that violates the rights of others. You may not scrape, reverse-engineer, or copy the service to build a competing product. You may not abuse our infrastructure (excessive automated requests, attacks, etc.) or attempt to access data that is not yours. We may suspend accounts that violate this section without notice.
6. Subscription, billing, and trial
Revio offers a 14-day free trial without a credit card. After the trial, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using paid features. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. Payment is processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method for the recurring fee plus applicable taxes. You can cancel at any time from the Settings page or via the Stripe Customer Portal — your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
7. Refunds
Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We will refund duplicate charges or charges resulting from clear technical error if you contact us within 30 days. Cancelling does not entitle you to a pro-rata refund of the current period — you keep access until the end of that period.
8. Intellectual property
Revio (including the software, brand, design, and documentation) is our intellectual property. We grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service for your own business purposes. You retain ownership of the data you upload (contacts, messages you write, business information). You grant us a limited license to process that data only as needed to provide and improve the service, in line with our Privacy Policy.
9. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using Revio you also agree to that policy.
10. Disclaimers and warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, or that messages will always be delivered — message delivery depends on third parties such as Twilio, Google, and the recipient's mobile carrier. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Revio's total aggregate liability arising out of or related to these Terms or the service is limited to twelve (12) times the amount you paid to Revio in the month immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost business, even if we were advised of the possibility. These limits apply regardless of the legal theory.
12. Termination, governing law, and changes
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it in the app. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the service in a way that creates legal or security risk. On termination, we follow the data-deletion timeline described in our Privacy Policy. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in British Columbia for any dispute. We may update these Terms; material changes will be communicated by email and shown in the app, and your continued use after the change date constitutes acceptance.
